GD's

The fleet

There's life still left in most Triumph cars, although some have to be sacraficed for the needs of the greater number ! Here's some of the scraps I have owned over the years.

Black Triumph GT6

White Triumph Dolomite

My LHD GT6 came from the US when its owner was posted to the US army base in Derry. The engine actually started by throwing petrol into the carbs (Rick nearly lost a couple of fingers with the carbs gulping air). The float bowls had solidified with 7 year old stale petrol.

This Dolomite looks okay but the sills, front inner wings and crossmembers are well past their prime. Doors and engine went to a good owners, the seats ended up in a camper van and the gearbox went into one of my Spittys.

Red Triumph GT6

SU's are simple. She'll start on the next crank of the engine !. Well, actually I never got this engine on the go and the car was sadly reduced to its component parts as the vultures descended onto it. Never mind, the body was completely past it as the more observant may see, my foot thru-the-floor.
